Question by Shanna B: I had unprotected sex last night and got my period this afternoon...?

Hi, My boyfriend and I had unprotected sex last night, Early this afternoon I got my period. I was planning on getting the morning after pill today but did not because I didn't see a point if I have my period now. Is there still a chance that I could become pregnant though I'm on my period? Also my period was 9 days early this month, not sure if that means anything... Any advice would be great. Thanks!

There is a pretty good chance your body will expel the egg, even if it does get fertilized. Watch next months period and stay away from alcohol, drugs, etc. until you know for sure.
